Caron Vandecar
OT
Hello, my name is Caron.
I studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and I qualified in 1998. I completed my post graduate training in Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental Therapy and have worked in a variety of settings in South Africa and the UK.
My passion is working with children, and I see the importance of working in a multidisciplinary team. It is vital for the team to work together and holistically to meet each child’s specific needs. I believe that the parents play the biggest role in a child’s life, and I take pride in the fact that I involve the parents in the treatment process.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and 2 amazing girls. We love exploring London and the countryside. If you had to call my best friend and ask her to describe me, I think she would describe me as caring, friendly, and very reliable.
