Hello, my name is Leah.
I am thrilled to lead Words First’s recruitment drive as we expand our exceptional team, which is the driving force behind our company’s success. I love meeting talented individuals from diverse backgrounds around the world while searching for the best therapists to join the Words First family.
Originally from South Africa, I embarked on a life-changing journey with my family to the UK in 2022. This personal experience has given me first hand insight into the challenges and rewards of relocation. I’m eager to share the valuable lessons I’ve learned throughout my own journey with anyone seeking to advance their career or start a new chapter in a different country.
Beyond my role as the recruitment lead for Words First, I’m a proud mom to one incredible human and three spoilt dogs. When I’m not busy with recruitment, you’ll find me immersed in a good book, enjoying exercise, or feeding the people I love.
While I can’t choose a single favourite book, Ken Follett’s Pillars of the Earth Trilogy is the series that inspired my love for historical fiction.
