Linda Bresgi

Ed Psych

Hi – I’m Linda Bresgi,

I’m an Educational Psychologist from the beautiful landscapes of the Western Cape in South Africa. My journey in this field began at the University of the Witwatersrand, where I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology in 2016.

My career spans over three decades, with the initial 30 years dedicated to nurturing young minds as a pre-school teacher, followed by eight rewarding years as an Educational Psychologist. This blend of experiences has honed my skills in supporting children both educationally and therapeutically. My practice isn’t just my profession; it’s my passion.

I’ve run my own private practice, lent my expertise to an impoverished community at a non-profit organisation, and contributed to various school settings. In the last 20 months, I’ve specialised in Neurodiversity at the Neurodiversity Centre in South Africa, focusing on understanding and embracing the diverse spectrum of human minds.

My approach to educational psychology is holistic and highly interpersonal. I believe in the power of collaboration, working closely with parents, caregivers, and schools to provide the best support for every child. Being the head of a school department before transitioning to psychology has given me a unique perspective. This experience enriched my understanding of children’s diverse needs and the most effective ways to support them and their caregivers, both individually and in group settings.

Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time with my family and friends. Having recently relocated to London, I’m thoroughly enjoying exploring the city’s hidden gems, quaint restaurants, and beautiful parks. Walking and staying active are important to me, and I find these activities rejuvenating.

My family describes me as adventurous, passionate, and a lifelong learner — traits that I apply not only in play but also diligently in every aspect of my professional work.
