Lee Lampen

Hello, my name is Lee.

I studied at the University of Cape Town where I obtained a BSC (hons)  in Speech- Language Pathology in 2020. I have since qualified as a Lactation Consultant too.
I have worked in both the government and the private sector in South Africa where I have been so fortunate to work with and experience a variety of populations within the Speech and Language Therapist’s scope of practice. I have a deep passion for people and children and am a helper by nature. It gives me immense satisfaction to make a positive impact on people and I have found being a speech therapist to be incredibly rewarding as a profession. I have a keen interest in school-based therapy and have spent much of my recent time practicing in this area.

My passions and hobbies outside of work include CrossFit and weight training, reading, writing and exploring nature. A book that has had a huge impact on my life is Viktor E. Frankl’s ‘Man’s search for Meaning’. It is a great and truly insightful read that has influenced my attitude, outlook and mindset towards life and it’s challenges.
