Hello! My name is Hannah.
I completed my studies in Speech and Language Therapy at City, University of London in 2023. Prior to this I studied Spanish Translation Studies for my undergraduate degree at the University of Westminster in London between 2010-2013.
During my training I had placements within the NHS across both adult and paediatric settings and although both were invaluable learning experiences, I particularly enjoyed my paediatric placements. Since graduating I spent some time working for the NHS, predominantly within primary schools where areas of interest have included working with children who have English as an additional language, developmental language disorder, stammering and childhood apraxia of speech.
When I am not at work, I enjoy going to the theatre, reading and dancing (especially Zumba). A book that had a big impact on my life was Matilda by Roald Dahl – as well as being entirely relatable for me as a young girl who adored books, the key message I took away from it was that anything is possible.
