Hello, I am Gel!

I graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. After obtaining my license to practice, I pursued my passions in the paediatric setting, where I now have 8 years of clinical experience.

Enriching play and social participation is a practice area close to my heart. I believe that nurturing therapeutic relationships start with playful connections. Since 2015, I have developed and implemented several group therapy programs for children and preadolescents aimed at enhancing socialization and related skills.

To further my professional knowledge, I completed my Level 2 training in Developmental Play and am currently taking my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

My practice as an occupational therapist is largely client-centered and occupation-based. Using evidence-based strategies, I collaborate with families to help them achieve their goals for their children at home and in school.

During my free time, I try out new recipes that I share with family and friends. If I were to select a favourite book, it would be The Little Prince by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry. If my friend were to describe me in three words, they would say that I am funny, kind and driven.
