Hello, my name is Terri.
I graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 2019. Shortly after finishing my year of community service where I ran the Speech Therapy Department, I decided to move over to the UK to work for Words First. I have experience in both paediatric and adult populations where my special area of interest is Autism. I am immensely passionate about providing holistic care for the children I work with and stress the importance of involving families and the school in intervention. I love the versatility of working for Words First as I am able to experience and support different populations.
In my spare time I love the outdoors and hanging out with friends. I am a big foodie, so exploring different cuisines and restaurants around London is a big passion of mine! If you had to call my best friend and ask her to describe me, I think she’d describe me as compassionate, fun and enthusiastic!
