Hello, my name is Ida.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines last 2017. From 2017 to 2023, I have worked in private paediatric clinics in diverse roles including being a consultant therapist. Some of my notable experiences outside of providing therapy services includes clinical teaching for student clinicians, developing and leading an internship program, spearheading the speech and language therapy department for a private clinic, and managing clinical operations part-time.

Over the course of my work, I have developed a particular interest in literacy, apraxia, and generally language for learning. In my practice, I always make sure to educate and counsel families and colleagues on how to better understand speech and language therapy, how to communicate effectively with their children, and how to take things step by step.

Outside of speech therapy, I enjoy music as I like to sing and dance. You’ll also find me reading poetry and watching movies. People tend to describe me as organized, principled, and intuitive.
