BSc (Hons) Psychology, MSc Speech and Language Therapy
Hello, my name is Dani! I graduated with a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy from City University in 2021. My interest in child language development began during my undergraduate degree in Psychology, where I spent a year working as a research assistant within a language centre. I have also spent time working in several nurseries and gained a wide range of experience as a student SLT working across various mainstream schools and early year settings.
I am passionate about helping children with a range of speech, language, literacy and communication difficulties, ensuring they get the support they need to succeed. I particularly enjoy creating fun, interactive and engaging activities to help motivate children of different ages, interests and learning styles to engage with the therapeutic process. Working for Words First has allowed me to start my role as a newly qualified therapist feeling incredibly supported and comfortable.
In my spare time I love relaxing with my family and friends, cooking traditional Serbian food and going to see West End musicals. If I had to ask my best friend to describe me in three words, I think they’d describe me as caring, trustworthy and hardworking.
