Hiya! My name is Cara and I am originally from America!
I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from Elms College in Massachusetts, and a Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. I began my speech therapy career in 2017 at a mainstream school in Virginia, USA where I managed a caseload of about 50-60 students with various social, speech and language difficulties. In 2018, I decided to take a job at a private speech and language therapy practice in London, and have been here in the U.K. ever since! I have a special interest in working with children who have speech sound disorders and social, expressive and receptive language difficulties. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, meeting new people and hanging out with my dog. If you had to ask my friends to describe me, they would probably say I’m energetic, positive and friendly.
