Hi, I’m Kerry-Lee

I graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2004 as a Speech and Language Therapist and Audiologist.

I am a passionate therapist, who has worked with children from the ages of 3 months through to secondary school over the last 20 years.

I have been fortunate to help these children in the areas of hearing impairment, language delay, auditory processing disorders, learning difficulties, autism and speech difficulties. I have worked with children and their families individually, as well as within school settings gaining insight into the educational needs as well as the social difficulties of children with communication and learning challenges. This has included working within multidisciplinary teams as well as within academic environments to set up support systems. I have also worked within the classroom, providing group therapy to mainstream as well as special needs children.

I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Foundation Phase Education in November 2016. This has provided me with valuable techniques and skills in order to treat my paediatric clients holistically.

I have a beautiful family that I love spending time with on the weekend – walking, playing games, and lots of picnicking! I also enjoy dancing and go to classes as often as I can.

I absolutely love Torey Hayden books as they speak right to the heart of my passion of helping children and families.
