Hello, my name is Giulia!
I joined Words First in 2016 after graduating from Potsdam University, Germany. My professional area of interest has always been Social Communication and Autism and I was lucky enough to have met and learnt from experts in the field over the years. Within my career at Words First I have been supported from the start in sharing my passion and expertise with others as I led the Autism Pathway and our Social Communication Outreach Team.
Through my work as a supervisor and then clinical lead I have discovered a passion for supporting and managing a team of therapists. As a Team Lead, it is my privilege to help others in their professional journey and to see my team members thrive in their careers at Words First.
I have recently relocated to the Kent Coast and am enjoying weekends on the beach with my son and husband. I am originally from Berlin and am half German, and half Italian. Outside of Speech therapy I love practising yoga and am also a qualified childrenās yoga instructor.
