Hi! My name is Lorenzo.
I graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila with a degree in BS Speech Pathology in 2015. Since graduating, I have worked in various clinics in the Philippines, including a community-based rehabilitation center for indigent clients for a local government unit. I have also acted as clinical supervisor and trained clinical interns from different universities, and in 2017 I had the distinction of being Best Clinical Supervisor in one of the schools. Over my work experience, I have honed my interest in Early Childhood Development, Pediatric Motor Speech, and Policy and Program Development. I am also a Level 1 PROMPT-trained practitioner. Working for Words First and in the UK is a new opportunity for me to explore my potential in the field of Speech and Language Therapy and carry over my learnings and experiences and apply in creating impactful programs for schools, their students and families.
During my free time, I spend it on baking sweet treats, collecting and listening to vinyl records, or just chilling out with my two dogs.
