Hello! I am Tasneem

I graduated from the University of Kwa- Zulu Natal, in South Africa with a Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology (Hons) in 2020. I completed my year of community service at a tertiary level hospital in Kimberly, Northern Cape in 2022, where I was privileged to have been given the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people. Working in a province outside of my home province allowed me to grow and discover new cultures and traditions. In 2023, I worked as a Locum Speech and Language Therapist in and around a few private hospitals in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal.

I have a keen interest in developing childrenā€™s speech, language and literacy skills to help make learning in the classroom easier for them. I am extremely passionate about making a difference in peopleā€™s lives. It truly warms my heart when I know that I have helped a child communicate in a way that allows them to be fully integrated into their families, their schools and their greater cultural and social communities.

In my spare time, you will find me either baking a delicious treat or cooking a tasty meal. I also love exploring and spending time outdoors. If you had to call my best friends and ask them to describe me, I think they’d describe me as kind, tenacious and fun.
