Hello, my name is Amy.
I am a Speech and Language Therapist. I studied at the University of Cape Town, in South Africa and graduated with my undergraduate degree in 2013. I received my Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 2019. I have 9 years of experience specifically with the paediatric population and previously I have worked in a government hospital, a private practice setting in mainstream primary schools, as well as in a large multidisciplinary team in a specialist school setting. I am passionate about connecting with children and assisting them to reach their potential, and I have a particular interest in literacy and language development.
In my spare time I love spending time outdoors with my young daughter and husband, laughing with friends and family, and finding a new coffee spot to enjoy. My best friends might describe me as empathetic, thoughtful, and loyal.
