Hi, I’m Claire,
I am a passionate speech therapist who embarked on a professional journey after graduating in 2016 at the Artevelde College in Ghent, Belgium. After specialising in stammering (CIOOS, 2017) and voice therapy (Thomas More, 2018), I devoted five enriching years to helping clients of all ages find their voice and overcome communication challenges in a private practice setting. Recently, I took a leap of faith and moved to London to embrace a new chapter in my life. I am thrilled to be part of Words First and eager to continue making a positive impact through my work.
I will be working in mainstream primary environments and I am looking forward to supporting children with needs in speech, language and general communication skills.
Beyond the world of speech therapy, I would describe myself as a creative soul with a love for drawing, painting, and animation. My compassionate nature, coupled with an insatiable curiosity, fuels my commitment to understanding and addressing the unique needs of everyone under my care. Known for my touch of silliness, I believe in fostering a comfortable and enjoyable environment to promote effective communication and personal growth. I look forward to contributing with my skills and enthusiasm to the dynamic team at Words First.
